With my Mac I can plug the 7 into it via USB cable and transfer video. I don't want to use Virb Edit to add overlays, as I suspect it will be retired in the near future. I don't want to edit on mobile devices to add overlays to my videos (the overlays in the mobile app aren't very aesthetically pleasing, IMO). I can't even find a download link for it. ![]() GoPro Studio appears to have been retired. ![]() I've now purchased a Hero 7 Black, and I'm struggling to develop a workflow. I played around with GoPro Studio a bit back then. ![]() I had a Hero 4 years ago, but I never really used it as I preferred my Virb Elite due to GPS and all of the metrics I could display on my videos (which included, but was not limited to, heartrate). As Garmin hasn't come out with a new Virb model in quite some time, and there are no new models on the horizon (that I'm aware of), I'm making the move to GoPro.
